All my online classes are individual and personalised. One-to-one online classes are the most effective way to achieve objectives within a limited time while enjoying a class designed to meet individual needs.
Offered in five levels, from A1 to C1, equivalent to the Curriculum of the Instituto Cervantes and the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). TYPES OF CLASSES
I offer you different types of Spanish classes, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs and objectives.
These classes are organised by levels, from A1 to C1, equivalent to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
Lessons for those who want to discover, both the language and the different cultures from Spain and Latin America.
You will learn Spanish in everyday life for social relations, education, travel,…
Lessons specially designed to adapt to the different learning rhythms and interests of the students.
You will acquire both, new grammatical knowledge and vocabulary, while you practice your speaking, reading, writing and listening skills.
Would you like to travel to South America but before you want to have some knowledge of the language?
Maybe you are moving to Spain in a few months and you need to improve your level of Spanish.
Or you might find yourself with some extra time and feel like putting it to use learning a new language.
Whatever the reason, you can arrange this course focused on vocabulary, frequent sentences and expressions, and common situations of a vacation trip.
Once you complete these lessons, you can progress to a General Spanish class.
These lessons are for those wishing to enhance their language skills and gain confidence in speaking. Certain knowledge of the language required, from Intermediate to Advanced level.
You will learn frequent expressions, new vocabulary, and Spanish culture and customs while you practice your oral skills (speaking and listening).
You will be encouraged to participate in discussions and debates appropriate to your level of command of the language. There will be an emphasis on using current topics from a variety of media, including the Internet.
Note: Although actual grammar issues are not addressed in these classes, I can explain you some points when necessary.
The lessons are for students who are studying an external Spanish course, which can be Secondary Education lessons or an University Degree in Spanish Language.
These classes should be understood as support classes for all of them who wish to prepare for their Spanish exams and oral presentations (including pronunciation practice), or just for those who need extra help with some grammar points.
In addition, I provide students help with homework and translations.
I will adapt the lesson to the student needs. We will work with their materials, although I will provide extra materials when necessary.
These classes follow current specifications and assessment criteria of official DELE Exams. Lessons integrate exam practice to aim for best possible grades.
WHAT IS DELE?
The Diplomas in Spanish as a Foreing Language are official qualifications in Spanish, awarded by Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education of Spain and adapted to the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
WHO CAN TAKE THE DELE EXAMINATIONS?
Anyone whose first language is not Spanish and who wishes to have an official certification of his/her level of Spanish. There are more than 1000 examination centres in more than 100 countries and in all five continents.
WHY TO GET A DELE?
There are 5 good reasons to take the DELE examinations:
- ACCREDITATION: A simple way to take advantage of your experience with Spanish language and get an official qualification.
- VALIDITY : Indefinite. Take an exam now and it will be always useful.
- RECOGNITION: Internacional. You can prove your Spanish skills worldwide.
- PRESTIGE: The DELE is recognised by major governments, organisations and companies.
- ACCESSIBLE: Six levels of accreditation for you to choose.
If you live in Utrecht, there is also the possibility of having face-to-face classes, althought it will depend on several factors like time, location, etcetera. These classes can be for individuals, but also for pairs.
One-to-one classes are for those who wish to have intensive and individualised private tuition. These classes are specially tailored to meet your individual requirements.
Two-to-one classes are exactly the same as One-to-one classes but these are designed for two friends or colleagues with the same level of Spanish.
Lessons are customised to suit your needs and goals. These classes, like online classes, can be based on General Spanish, Spanish for Holidays, Conversation, DELE Preparation or Secondary & University.

It’s also possible to take classes at a different time, although these classes have a higher cost than the usual classes.

Classes are taught within Central European hours. All lessons are 55 minutes long and start on the hour
You have to book your class at least 24 hours before the lesson starts and with a maximum of one month in advance
You can reschedule a class at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise it will be considered as taught. Send an email to: contact@yourspanishteacher.nl asking for a reschedule and specifying the new date/time and I will make a new booking for you
Your class can be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, so you don’t lose it. Contact me by writing an email to: contact@yourspanishteacher.nl specifying what class you want to cancel and I will cancel your booking without any penalty
