Taking into account how long they remain active without being updated or modified, we can understand that there are two types:
–Session Cookies: They are all those Cookies that store data only during the time that the USER is actively on a specific website. They are those that do not remember the products of an online basket or the password of an USER three days after their last visit.
–Persistent Cookies: Those that never leave a website. They are all those Cookies that remember that an USER wants to translate the page into Spanish or their profile data.

Depending on who has the use and management of Cookies on a website, there are two different types:
–First-party Cookies: When the owner of the website is the same person who manages these Cookies.
–Third-party Cookies: These Cookies are those in which the USER does not give their information directly to the webmaster during the session. That is, if someone decides to share an article from a website on a social network, no matter how much they do it from that URL, the information corresponding to that Cookie about the USER is received and can be viewed by that social network, not by the owner of the website.
With all this, a Cookie can belong to several types, being, for example, persistent, advertising and third-party at the same time.
What Cookies does our website use?
